Coffee Cafe is not like your average RPG, it’s very upbeat but also relaxing at the same time. Most RPG’s like to focus on battles and action, however Coffee Cafe focuses on story and exploration!

Can I Customize the Player?
Yes! However, to a certain extent. There are 10 different player models you can choose from! You can choose a feminine or masculine model, however the pronouns of the player will always be they/them! You can also put in your own custom name!
What Is The Story?
Coffee cafe follows you, a 13 year old child. On your birthday, you venture out into the town for the first time on your own. Now that it’s summer and school is on break, you find yourself uninspired and bored. The player starts looking for a hobby until they stumble across a coffee shop. They have learned to love this shop while receiving the terrible news at the same time: Coffee Cafe will be closing in Two Weeks. Knowing how much the cafe means to Aliicha, the player is filled with determination and a sense of purpose! In order to get business back to the shop, the player has to collect ingredients for new recipes all while figuring out what is going on with the new smoothie shop next door.
How are you making this?
As a beginner, I decided to use a very user friendly engine as I didn’t know how to code yet. For this project, I’ve been using RPG Maker MV. All the character designs and sprites, maps, etc. are all made by me. With that being said it’s very time consuming. For the music, I’ve been getting the help of two talented people, Zappz and Razp. They have been incredible with helping me with the overall vibe of the game!
Will the game be free once finished?
Yes! The game will be released on Itch.io for free with the option to “pay your price.” Meaning that by default it will be free, but if you want to support me and my work you can pay for it at any price! I would really appreciate the support but don’t feel obligated to pay if you can’t! This is my first game and I want people to enjoy it weither or not they have money.Game release date: TBA
